Driveway crack fill and seal Dorchester Property

Driveway crack fill and seal Dorchester Property

Cullins Service went to Dorchester to seal a driveway and fill in some cracks. First we edged and gained a few inches on either side of the driveway. Then we removed all debris, sand, dirt, mulch, rock dust and anything else that was on the driveway. Cullins Service Landscapers cleared all sides to define clear edges.

Then one of us took a brush and sealed all around and up the driveway on all edges. Then we spread the sealant all around all way up the driveway.

Cullins Service came back to make sure the job was done right. We had a few touch ups. The driveway as you can see looked great a big improvement. We filled all the cracks and sealed over them. In new England if you have cracks in your driveway or streets the water will get into them then freeze in the winter. Causing even bigger cracks. Now this customer will not have to worry about that.

Initial Cleanup, Weeding, Branches, leaves, small tree, bush and debris removal, Bush Trim and Shaping, Tree Trimming / Pruning Brookline Property

This property belonged to a very nice lady. She had called Cullins Service in search of Landscapers to get her property back in shape , and was very happy w/ the results Cullins Service provided her. She is now a permanent customer. She has also referred us to others.

Cullins Service removed leaves, weeds and other debri from the yard.  The tree out front had a branch broken from a storm so we removed that. The customers Dogwood trees also needed some love. We cut some lower branched that were just out of place. There were some dead branches that needed pruning, and some branches that were not growing in the  right direction. Finally we cut some of the low hanging branches to as they say “lifting the shirt” of the tree. You don’t have to cut the whole branch off. Just cut a few of of the branch ends off. It will lessen the weight at the end and lift the whole branch up. You don’t want the tree to look pruned. Make it look natural.

The biggest difference was made w/ the bushes. Cullins Service used our Echo HC-152 – Hedge Trimmer with 20″ Blades to trim and shape them up. We shaped up the bushes real nice. It made a big difference. We pruned the back of the massive Rhododendron’s away from the house. Always keep a few feet from trees, bushes and other shrubs from your house. It’s a great way for insects and rodent to get into your home. We also cut way back some bushes on the side of her house.

As you can see by the pics this property looks much better thanks to Cullins Service landscaping.

Cullins Service Landscapers Cutting Bushes and Removing Bush Stumps Newton Property

This job came out of nowhere. We were just coming home from another job, and all of a sudden a gentleman appears out of nowhere.

He was a neighbor from just down the street. He had been doing work on his yard for a while now. Cullins Service are landscapers so when we see work being done in someones yard of course we wonder what they are doing. This guy was tearing up his whole yard, removing all his grass so Cullins Service knew it had to do w/ grass.

Anyway he approaches us and tells us he needs some bushes removed from his yard. So we say o.k. and follow him down the street to survey the job. We get down there and there are seven massive bushes to be cut and removed.  Cullins Service accepts the job.

So a couple days later we show up w/ a CS-330t Echo chainsaw, some chains, 4 inch 4000 lb straps and a special tool that made the job a lot easier a “spare tire”. We made short work of the tops of the bushes w/ our CS-330t Echo chainsaw. We put that CS-330t Echo chainsaw through a lot, and it still tears through everything like a beast. Just keep the chain sharp and go. Then We put the spare tire next to the stump, and put the chain over the top. What happens is instead of pulling the stump out straight (which in this case was  almost impossible) it pulls the stump up and out. If Cullins Service didn’t have the spare tire we would have been there all day digging and cutting.

So the customer was happy his bushes and stumps were removed. The next day he had grass sod put down, and his yard looks good.

This was an especially rewarding Landscape Design. Cullins Service Landscapers took an old slate stone path were the slate stones were 75 – 90% covered in grass, and created a stunning pea stone / slate stone path.

We started by digging up the slate stone. Then cut in lines parallel to each other 20 inches apart. Then we removed the turf, soil and roots. After cleaning up the edges making a nice sharp wall on either side we put down filter cloth to prevent any weeds to come up through the pea stone. After filling the path in some Cullins Service cut the filter cloth so it could not be seen, but covered the bottom and sides. We then shimmied the original slate stones into the pea stones and filled the path all the way up w/ the pea stones.

After the Landscape design project was completes we tied up the customers bushes so there would be a clear path all the way to the back. Not only were Cullins Service happy w/ the finished project our customer loved it, and that makes it all worth it.
